Peach Fuzz, fancy knits, Facebook turns 20, stripes and stainless steel, a perfect storage solution, and more
Every Monday, at TIG, I write Notes from the Weekend and it is by far one of our most popular features at the site. It is also always the most clicked article in our regular newsletter, so thought it might be worth exploring a companion piece here, but perhaps with a more personal slant and much more expanded, discussing the things that inform my current thought processes as I create content for the site throughout the week.

PEACH FUZZ
As it celebrates the 25th year of its Colour of the Year program, Pantone has unveiled Peach Fuzz as this year’s hue. This delicate, subdued shade lying somewhere between pink and orange expresses the desire to nurture kindness, compassion, and our collective longing for meaningful bonds with others in divisive times. The soft hue aims to envelop us in warmth and cosiness as we envision a more hopeful tomorrow. This year's selection joins 24 previous Colours of the Year that influence product development and design across industries ranging from fashion to home furnishings and beyond. What are your thoughts on the colour? Still can’t decide if I like it, or if it reminds me too much of a holiday condo in Florida.
