Life Update /008
From Hospital Beds to Hill Views: Autumn Travels, Settling into a New Flat, and a Pilgrimage to Sylvia Plath’s Final Resting Place
It’s been just over four months since the last Life Update – if you’re a regular reader, you’ll recall that it was written from a hospital bed. Thankfully, things have improved greatly. This edition comes to you from our new, sun-filled flat, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows. From the living room, we can see the hills and watch the leaves change colour. It’s a dream.
Mentioned in my last letter that we’ve been travelling across Britain – Scotland to England, through cities like Glasgow, London, Stamford, and Manchester. This week’s entry is a kind of photo record, less for spectacle than for keeping track: of what we saw, what we did, and what we ate along the way. The small, everyday details that make movement feel real.
